According to the original caption "at the camp there is a single refectory in which the 2000 collaborators eat in two relays. Here they eat their breakfast in the morning, before going to work, and the evening meal. At midday the workers squadrons take the uncooked food with them and prepare it at the place of work". LINK |

Italian Prisoners of War sit at a table at an outpost of the N.144 workers camp near London. According to the original caption, the outposts allow 70 men to live nearer to their place of work. "The outposts are miniature camps, with refectories, dormitories, canteen and kitchen as in the bigger camps". According to the original caption, this plant it connected to a "system of amplifiers scattered about everywhere, in the canteen, in the refectory, in the common rooms etc.". Sono spagnola ma mio padre era di Lecce e lui era andato in Spagna con occasione della Guerra Civile. Era Camicia Nera e sempre parlava de suo amico Vezio e in questo blog ho trovato una fotografia di Vezio Deon Cardin, veramente amico di mio padre. Saresti in grado di offrirmi più informazione di queste signore?
